Who I work with
I work with controllers, directors of finance, CFOs and board members of tax-exempt organizations with total revenue and support of $5 million or more, particularly those involved in advocacy (501(c)6 or 501(c)4).
My specialty
I specialize in assurance services for tax-exempt organizations, nonprofit consulting and board training/education. As a director and mentor for our nonprofit assurance practice, I work with other industry leaders to continuously improve our group’s processes and performance. I also network with potential prospects and other industry referral sources. I take pride in building relationships with my clients that are based on frequent communication, deep technical insight, trust and stability.
Results I have delivered
A new client wasn’t getting their audit wrapped up until 11 months after year-end. We brought that down to 3 months, which enhances their ability to govern, boosts their internal controls over reporting and provides timely information for stakeholders.
Unique things about me
My wife and I greatly enjoy hiking. In 2015, we hiked 110 miles during our honeymoon at Glacier National Park in Montana.
When I am not at work
I enjoy watching Philadelphia sports (i.e., Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Flyers), fishing and hiking —particularly in upstate Pennsylvania where I have a cabin. My favorite sport to follow is football.

I have a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University. I’m a member of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs and the AICPA. I’m on the Chair of the Audit Committee of the University Club of Washington, DC. I am also an Eagle Scout.
