Who I work with
I lead Aprio’s National Dental Practice. I serve as a business advisor to dentists and owners of dental practices. I am also a seasoned public speaker and regularly share my industry experience with dental audiences across the nation.
My specialty
The pace of business change and financial complexity today is formidable. My experiences as a tax advisor, auditor, forensic accountant and expert witness have prepared me to educate and coach my dental clients through the most complex of financial challenges. Clients come to me for guidance on:

- I teach dentists to steal so they can understand how they may become a victim of fraud.
- I love unraveling complex financial matters for clients, like the $180,000,000 ponzi scheme my analysis helped solve.
- I have served as an instructor to FBI agents on financial statement fraud, tax matters and money laundering, and served as a court appointed arbitrator.
When I am not at work
I love cooking with my wife and cruising in my vintage 1948 Willys Jeep. As a beekeeper and member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners I appreciate a good sting. I am also a member of the AICPA, and the former West Tennessee Chapter president of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. I serve in the community as a Adult Sunday School Teacher.
