Thomas Scott, CPA
Tax Partner | Growth Advisor and Technology | SaaS | Blockchain and Manufacturing Specialist
Aprio Advisory Group, LLC
Who I work with
I work closely with the owners of technology, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and blockchain businesses to help accelerate growth, from startups to industry leaders. I also have considerable experience advising companies in the manufacturing & distribution and professional services industries.
My specialty
My specialties include business and individual tax compliance and advising technology startups. I help clients simplify federal, state, local and international tax compliance, while providing innovative ways to drive value through ongoing business consulting that includes tax and strategic savings advisement. I help clients best position their businesses for profitable growth, capital raises and successful exits.
Results I have delivered
Whether I’m helping my clients identify and claim valuable tax credits or creating a tax-efficient structure to increase business value for a future capital raise or exit, I am constantly playing defense to support near-term profitability and playing offense to find future opportunities that benefit my clients.
Unique things about me
I am an automobile enthusiast and I enjoy attending classic car shows. I own a 1966 Buick Wildcat and I love cruising old school in this pristine example of mid-sixties automotive innovation.
When I am not at work
I am a family guy, and I love spending time with my wife and children. (But, no eating in Dad’s car.)
People say I am
Approachable, dependable and hospitable — I treat everyone “like family.” Welcome to Aprio.
