Overview

Michele partners with professional, civic, community, and academic organizations to create strategic community service opportunities for Aprio team members. She has more than 15 years of social responsibility experience across corporate, nonprofit, and government organizations, building meaningful community partnerships with organizations of all sizes. She also manages Aprio’s Alumni Program and develops innovative programs and engaging community partnerships that advance the shared business goals of existing and former Aprio employees.

Experience

Michele has extensive expertise across the full spectrum of corporate social responsibility, including leadership, team-building, strategic planning, program development, employee engagement, corporate communications, fiscal management, and culture-building. The community impact of Michele’s work has been acknowledged by multiple industry associations — she has been awarded the AutoTrader CEO Award and the AutoTrader Group Employee and Community Partner of the Year Award.

Education & Affiliations

Michele earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University. She also holds a Certificate in Corporate Citizenship Management from Boston College and the Governing for Nonprofit Excellence Certification from the Harvard Business School for Executive Education.

Michele’s professional and community affiliations include serving on the Board of Directors of the Bobby Dodd Institute; Advisory Council Member of Open Hand; Member of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Metropolitan Atlanta; Conference Host Committee Member of Points of Light; and Georgia Gives Day Advisory Committee Member for the Georgia Center for Nonprofits.
