With every engagement, Melissa’s top priority is to help her clients gain deeper insight into their businesses in order to seize key opportunities and better plan for challenges. She provides her clients with guidance on accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, while prepping for the impact of potential tax law changes. Melissa regularly identifies accruals and overstated assets on behalf of her clients, which typically result in between $50,000─$2.5 million in financial-statement adjustments.
Education & Affiliations
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master of Science (M.S.) in Accounting from Kean University. A noted thought leader in the field, she is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs (WICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), where she also served as a featured speaker to local high school students interested in the accounting profession.
