Overview
Kevin is a partner in Aprio’s Tax Services Group. He works with high net worth individuals, corporate executives, and business owners during a time when they are typically stepping in to a transformative wealth generating moment for themselves and their families. Kevin approaches their situations holistically, not only seeking to maximize tax efficiencies where possible, but also helping clients achieve real life goals in the process (diversifying portfolio, paying off student loans, purchasing a home, etc.).
Experience
He has deep experience in equity compensation planning and analysis for executives of privately and publicly held companies, navigating tender offers or IPOs, and complexities associated with the Section 1202 qualified small business stock gain exclusion. Kevin assists clients with their tax compliance and consulting needs. He is well-versed in identifying amendment opportunities for returns still in statute, planning around future liquidity events to reduce taxes, and helping quantify expected net cash flows.
