Jeff is a tax partner at Aprio specializing in the real estate and construction industry. He brings nearly 20 years of real estate experience to clients. Jeff’s experience spans most aspects of the industry; he has provided tax and advisory services to developers and owners in land, office, hotel, retail and residential development, domestic and international investors in U.S. real estate, construction companies both large and small, and real estate service providers.
Experience
From a technical perspective, Jeff has extensive experience dealing with complex partnerships and corporate tax issues, including special allocations, maintenance of capital accounts, consolidated returns, disguised sales, tax provisions, multi-state apportionment and allocation computations, state income and composite tax returns, and state and federal tax credits.
Jeff and his team are known for being responsive above and beyond the call of duty. He brings fast, creative solutions to companies, often solving problems considered unsolvable. Jeff has saved clients millions of dollars by reducing their tax liabilities and serves as a trusted business advisor to many privately-held real estate companies.
