Who I work with
As a partner in Aprio’s National Healthcare Practice, I work with practice owners who are highly focused on achieving profitability. I help practice leaders set measurable KPIs and benchmarking studies that provide meaningful comparisons to competitors.
My specialty
I help practice owners minimize taxable liability by engaging in thoughtful, proactive tax planning. I also assist with long-term planning for the sale of a practice or transition to new owners. This is particularly helpful among family-owned and multi-generational practices.
Results I have delivered
Planning is key through all life cycle changes. I have helped practices determine everything from tax credits to the ideal timing of opening a new optometry location.
Unique things about me
I have the worst sense of direction. I can walk into a bathroom in a restaurant, make a wrong turn on the way out, and wind up in the kitchen!

You can find me playing golf, traveling, spending time with my family and supporting my UNC Tar Heels.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a degree in business administration, as well as a Masters in Accounting with an emphasis on tax. I belong to the AICPA and the North Carolina Association of CPAs.
