Alex Gajewski
Vice President, Corporate Development
Aprio Advisory Group, LLC
Who I work with
My role is expansive – I work with firms interested in merging with Aprio, their advisors, and the Aprio team members that make it all happen. The process of guiding these major transactions involves many important players, and I am fortunate to interact with them. I understand that mergers and acquisitions are stressful personal and professional decisions, and I’m here to make that process as easy as possible. I understand that your business is more than just a number, and treating it well is important to me.
My specialty
I specialize in helping big groups work through complex problems. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out ways partnerships can be beneficial for all parties, and I have a talent for bringing people together to get to yes. It’s important to me that through the M&A process, we all get to a win-win that benefits our businesses and partnerships. I have a bias for action and am quick to get things done.
Results I have delivered
Over the course of my career, I have helped to execute over $1B worth of transactions.
Unique things about me
My first ever job was as a paper boy! I still read a hard copy of the newspaper every weekend. I love sports and the relationships they build – until recently, I coached little league with the same group of friends I played with growing up.
When I am not at work
I enjoy playing in an ice hockey league here in Charlotte, NC – team sports are my favorite hobby. I also like to compete in jiu jitsu tournaments. If I’m not competing in sports, I like to spend my time outdoors, I even proposed to my wife in Zion National Park!

Affiliations
