Who I work with
I serve on Aprio’s Executive Leadership team and work alongside a team of talented financial professionals. In my role as CFO, I set the financial strategy for the firm and oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, internal accounting operations and process improvements. The finance function at Aprio works with practice leaders and fellow business operations leaders to identify opportunities, project and understand business results, support Aprio’s diverse service offerings and drive our ambitious growth strategy. We also work with new firms that join Aprio to ensure smooth operational transitions.
My specialty
I am a seasoned leader with deep expertise in business integration and corporate finance. With my experience founding and leading a business, and serving as CPA myself, I’m passionate about accelerating process foundations that enable cost efficiency and improve performance. In my pursuit of excellence, I am always looking for ways to anticipate what’s next. Bottom line – I want to ensure Aprio gets the right functionality, access, transparency and agility needed to best meet our objectives.
Unique things about me
Before joining Aprio, I founded my own outsourced accounting firm called Administrivia, so I understand the needs of entrepreneurs.
I live for the “ah-ha” moments clients experience when they fully understand what drives success in their businesses. My career includes serving as an accounting manager for CNN and nearly a decade as an auditor in KPMGs real estate and construction group. I earned my BS in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Central Florida, where I graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
What I do when I am not at work
I am an avid world traveler, and I serve as the Board Chair for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation.
