
Overview
Adam serves on Aprio’s Executive Leadership team and works alongside a team of talented financial professionals. In his role as CFO, he sets the financial strategy for the firm and oversees financial planning and analysis, budgeting, internal accounting operations and process improvements. He works closely with practice leaders and fellow business operations leaders to identify opportunities, forecast and understand business results to support Aprio’s ambitious growth strategy.
Experience
Before taking the role as CFO, Adam was a Partner and Director of Aprio’s Managed Services group, where he advised C-level executives and business owners to establish accounting processes and financial controls that create greater efficiencies and business insights. He lives for the “ah ha” moments that help business leaders understand what drives success in their businesses and believes that accounting helps people pursue their passions.
Prior to joining Aprio, Adam founded Administrivia, an outsourced accounting firm that provided highly personalized technology enabled accounting solutions to mid-market software, non-profit and professional services businesses. He grew the business to serve hundreds of successful clients and was named Midtown Atlanta, Businessman of the Year in 2012. Before launching Administrivia Adam served as the accounting manager for CNN.com and spent nearly a decade as an Auditor* at KPMG in the firm’s real estate and construction group.
Education & Affiliations
Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. He serves the community as the Board Chair for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation, where he applies his passion for accounting to support the organization’s youth leadership programs.
