Eric Neas Reflects on Path to Partner with Georgia College & State University

June 26, 2024 – Eric Neas, audit partner at Aprio, reflected on his time at Georgia College & State University (GCSU) in a feature on the university’s online publication, Front Page, published June 17, 2024. As an alumnus, Eric recounted his journey from a dedicated student and first responder to an audit partner at Aprio. Eric credits his time at GCSU, including his graduate assistantship and supportive faculty, as key factors in his professional success. Balancing his studies with his duties as a firefighter, Eric exemplified dedication by studying during night shifts and excelling in his classes.

“The intimate setting of GCSU had a significant impact on me, providing the opportunity to network with other business program students and engage with professors and professionals,” Eric said. “I was able to learn how to connect with people, learn who they are, what their drive is in life and where they aspire to be.”

Eric stays connected to GCSU, participating in campus events and mentoring future accounting professionals.
