This honor reflects his dedication to improving the quality of life for African American youth in the Atlanta community.
The 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. is committed to closing the academic achievement gap and opening doors to higher education for motivated young people in low-income communities. The organization strives to create a foundation for upward economic mobility through mentorship and educational initiatives. The work of 100 Black Men of Atlanta is vital in shaping a brighter future for the city’s youth, and these members are instrumental in empowering students to benefit from the transformative programs and resources.
Jeff joins an exceptional group of leaders honored during the 100 Honors Gala, which took place on Oct. 5, 2024, at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta. The funds raised directly support Project Success, guiding middle and high school students with mentorship, academic assistance, STEM training, and life skills development. 100 Black Men of Atlanta also provide scholarships, educational enrichment opportunities, and career exposure that will empower the next generation of leaders in our community. This year’s gala celebrated individuals who exemplify the theme “Our Youth, Our City, Our Future,” including:
Mayor Andre Dickens, recipient of the Maynard H. Jackson Community Impact Award for his dedication to the city’s future.
Dr. Michael Lomax, honored with the Andrew Young Lifetime Achievement Award for his lifelong commitment to education and community.
Dr. Albenney Price, awarded the Thomas W. Dortch, Jr. Civic Leadership Award for impactful civic engagement.
Zoe Oli, the 12-year-old CEO of Beautiful Curly Me, recipient of the John Lewis Emerging Leader Award.
Google, recognized with the Chairman’s Circle Corporate Responsibility Award for outstanding corporate citizenship.
Dr. Rashad Richey, recipient of the Nathaniel R. Goldston III Trailblazer Award for his pioneering contributions to the community.
