American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Elects Lexy Kessler, Aprio’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Leader, Vice Chair

ATLANTA – May 31, 2024 — Aprio, LLP proudly announces that Lexy Kessler, CPA, CGMA, Mid-Atlantic regional leader and assurance and audit services partner, has been elected to serve as vice chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants® (AICPA®) for 2024 – 2025. The AICPA Governing Council held elections during their annual meeting on May 22 – 23, 2024.

In her new capacity as vice chair, Lexy will work alongside the AICPA board of directors to shape the future of the accounting profession and advocate for the interests of CPAs and CGMAs. The Association represents over 400,000 members, students, and registrants in the United States and worldwide.
