Vanessa Piedrahita Champions Growth of Hispanic and Latin-American Entrepreneurs in CPA Practice Advisor

Sept. 20, 2024 – Vanessa Piedrahita, tax partner and Latin America practice leader at Aprio, authored a recent article for  the Sept. 18, 2024, edition of CPA Practice Advisor titled, “Improving Advisory Firm Services for Hispanic and Latin-American Entrepreneurs Drives U.S. Economic Growth.” In the piece, Vanessa highlighted the significant contributions of nearly 5 million Hispanic-owned businesses, which generate $2.8 trillion in economic output and $800 billion in annual revenue.

Vanessa emphasized the importance of culturally fluent advisory services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of Hispanic- and Latino-owned businesses, especially those expanding internationally. She also shared how Aprio’s SOMOS Familia program helps empower Hispanic and Latin-American team members by providing mentorship and fostering a supportive community.
