Workplace burnout is a highly unpleasant mental and physical condition that can occur if you work too hard for too long. According to APA’s 2024 Work in America survey, many workplaces are still getting adjusted to the new normal and changing landscape of employment brought about by many global crises: 43% of employees say that at any time during their workday, they typically feel stressed, and 61% of employees experience lower psychological safety at work.
