Who I work with
I work with a wide range of businesses as a strategic partner and a trusted advisor from small startups to large mature businesses. My industry experience is varied but I have a high concentration of medical practices and related entities, dental practices, veterinary practices, and closely held real estate.

I specialize in providing proactive comprehensive business and tax planning services.
I also specialize in working with high-net-worth clients providing financial, estate, and family planning services.

I have helped clients achieve maximum profits in their businesses and minimize tax burden both in their business and personally. Watching clients’ businesses and their family net worth grow over time is the result of which I am most proud.
Unique things about me
I recently restored a vintage 1969 Ford Bronco (I primarily wrote checks and directed “traffic”).
When I am not at work
I enjoy time with family taking trips to the beach to include a fishing expedition and having kite flying competitions. I also enjoy going to the North Carolina mountains to enjoy the outdoors hiking and rafting.
My wife and I enjoy maintaining and improving our gardens and raising vegetables and fruits in season.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), and the Alabama Medical Group Management Association.
I am past president of the Birmingham Chapter of the ASCPA and member of council of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
