Preparing for DC Area Government Closures

The Love Storm is taking aim on the D.C. region and although no formal announcement has been made, it is highly likely that many Government offices located in the path of the current blizzard will be closed on February 13, 2014.  Government closures invariably raise the question, “what happens to my employees who work at Government offices?” As a service to our loyal blog readers, Aprio is posting a link to a presentation we gave at the Northern Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.  The presentation provides practical tips for handling the issues that arise when the Government facility where contractor employees are suppose to report for work is closed.
